We are most pleased to confirm we will one again be holding a Grand Convention Raffle and we hope that this will add to the overall excitement and festivities of our convention. We sure you will agree that these are fantastic prizes and we thank all of those involved in making these possible.
A wonderful opportunity to visit the home of Dr. Bob, our AA co-founder as well as visiting many other AA historical sites.
The prize includes a stay for two people at a beautiful Tudor-style house in Akron and on a bed and breakfast basis.
Flights will be from a designated European Airport to the USA and also the return - we will try to accommodate the winner as best we can.
Please Note: Prize offered on a bed and breakfast basis.Winners must arrange their own travel to the hotel.
To Include return flights from a designated airport to Cyprus.
Please Note: The apartment can sleep up to three adults or, two adults and two children. This is an accommodation only prize although a contribution towrads travel costs is being offered.
There will also be a further four magnificent surprise Convention 2026 prizes where no tickets will need to be purchased and all the winners will be drawn from delegates completed Event registration slips.
The cost of raffle tickets is as follows:
5 euros for one ( 1 ) ticket
20 euros for five ( 5 ) tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the raffle desk next to our registration area and from a number of our convention committee members who can be identified by their yellow coloured lanyards.
We would like to confirm that all funds gained through this raffle activity and also our registration fees will be used solely to cover the costs of our convention with a prudent reserve for next year's event and, more importantly as per tradition, where they might be best placed to help the still suffering Alcoholic. Following the convention we will be holding a convention committee meeting and will collectively agree on the exact use of the funds made from our event but, tantamount to our final decision will be the primary objective as stated previously. We will inform all our convention attendees of our collective committee decision when made.
Dear fellow world wide convention friends,
We felt it important to declare that all monies raised during our convention be it either by our registration fees or, by our raffle will, after deducting our convention expenses and the reserving of a prudent amount for next year's convention be completely used where it will help the still suffering alcoholic.
Following our event we shall hold a convention committee meeting where at which time we will collectively discuss the most efficient ways of using the funds to carry out our primary AA objective.
When this has been democratically decided we shall make every effort to inform all our convention visitors of our plans.
